Biography

Leo Wei was a Master’s student at DENOS Lab from 2023 to 2025, co-supervised by Dr. Na Li. His research on federated learning for supply chain demand forecasting brought privacy preserving machine learning to real forecasting problems. He is now AI Technical Lead at Citizen Relations, a public relations agency headquartered in Toronto with offices around the world.

  • Part of the DENOS team that received a Best Paper Award at the 2025 IEEE International Conference on Autonomous and Trusted Computing in Calgary.
  • Third place in data visualization at the CANIS Hackathon hosted by Schulich Ignite, with Yunkai Bao and Jiajun Wu.
