Main contributor of Dual-stage Patient Chart Summarization
Biography
Swaleh Zaidi joined DENOS Lab as a summer intern in 2025 and is the main contributor to the lab’s dual-stage patient chart summarization work. The system runs entirely offline across two Jetson Nano devices, one retrieving the relevant sections of a patient record and the other generating a structured summary, so emergency physicians get critical findings in under thirty seconds without patient data leaving the device.
