Biography

Musa Taib is a PhD student at DENOS Lab working on federated learning for social good. His research applies federated learning to the Housing and Homelessness System of Care so that smaller agencies, which rarely hold enough data to train their own models, can take part in building predictive tools without sharing sensitive client records.
